Found on Amazon: Main Street is bustling in Snowberry, Minnesota, and nobody knows that better than the owner of the iconic bakery, the Liberty Belle. Handed the key to her namesake at barely twenty-one, Liberty has worked day and night to keep her parents’ legacy alive. Now, three years later, she’s a hotter mess than the batch of pies baking in her industrial-sized oven. Photographer Bram Alexander has had his viewfinder focused on the heart of one woman since returning to Snowberry. For the last three years she’s kept him at arm’s length, but all bets are off when he finds her injured and alone on the bakery floor. Liberty found falling in love with Bram easy, but convincing her tattered heart to trust him was much harder. Armed with small town determination and a heart of gold, Bram shows Liberty frame-by-frame how learning to trust him is as easy as pie.
My Review: Mettler has outdone herself yet again in this unique contemporary romance. As a nurse, I pay close attention to the medical facets in each of her books I read. Mettler is spot on in providing information about multiple sclerosis without the narrative being overwhelmed in medical speak. Emotions run high and happy endings do exist side by side with chronic illness, various disabilities and the like. I loved the aspect woven into the story about a teen with Downs Syndrome, high functioning at that. What a romance. Five stars!!!!!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review, Mary! Liberty and Bram are one of the favorite couples I’ve ever written ❤️

Welcome, Katie. I loved this story. Your books uplift me. If I had a chance to sit down to a dinner with one living writer, anyone in the world, I choose you.

Thank you, Katie. I hate Covid. You inspire me by the way you wrap up faith in your books, and how you include medical issues. I no longer can work as a registered nurse, but I identify with medical issues. Sooo…… but hey, if I ever see something wrong in o ne of your books, I will alert you to it. In a week or so, I will have my sequel to Angels book corrected and would love to send it to you. A short one hour or so read.
