Wow. Kidd has written a great story. Full of the old west, hard work, strong feelings, outlaws, bandits, horses, farming, doctoring, hopes, dreams, fears, laughter, love, and Jesus. Throughout this book, life is woven in a tight tapestry of everything you can feel, see, smell, taste, and loss, heavy on those who don’t die in the natural birth order. The love remains, above all, the love and faith in Jesus.
