I had my first book signing this year at a festival on 26 July 2025. I’d not had one in a couple years so this was nice. I don’t have many pictures, but I was one of three featured authors at this festival event, and it was special and humbling to hear my voice announced on area radio stations throughout the day for a full week.

It was nice that Mike was able to be with me for the signing. I’d just got out of the hospital and could not tolerate the entire time slot for this event, but it was nice to chat with old friends, meet new ones, and to be in an old, historical building, air conditioned, and have a front row seat above those on the sidewalk in chairs for the parade.

Table setup was a bit crowded as we each had a square table, but they kept extra stock for me in the back of the store, as they carry all of my books! The business is Kansas Originals, and that link is their online site. They happen to be moving the store (since inception in the same location since 1991) and I wish nothing but the best for them.
