From Amazon:

During his son’s visit with Santa, the instant attraction between an injured football player and the widow turned photographer changes everything. The flirtation between Sonia and Lars is encouraged by both their single parents, but does a hot kiss in the backseat of a limo inspire the young couple to move forward without the parents’ intervention?

Embrace the fun when Sonia’s mom and Lars’s dad alleviate their yesterdays and prove by example that happily ever after’s do exist – Complete the equation with the lure of the Holidays as these four people rediscover the magic of Christmas, with a New Year’s surprise.

My Review:

I found this short novel to be a nice and cozy holiday read from before Thanksgiving and right into New Years Day. Ricci packs a lot into this short story, and it carries a punch. More than that, it carries love and moves forward, even if slowly, after tremendous loss. That’s easier said than done. By that, I mean child loss is terrible around the holidays. Loss of one’s parents takes time to heal, and I’ve done, but my boys in Heaven are another story. Losing a spouse is terrible, and one must move forward slowly so thar they are not so consumed with loss that they fail to see their future and feel the hope given from above.
