No Wedding Bells for Amy – Fake love never pays.
Stories of human trafficking, a woman torn between two lovers, deception, neglect, fake love, and even humour, will interest readers who are looking for answers in their own lives.

Amazon Reviewer:
“I enjoyed these short stories. Each tale was interesting and different and very enjoyable. The second story in the book “Her Online Predator” is something that everyone should read. I don’t want to spoil the story by giving too many details away but it’s something that people need to think about when they are using the internet. As well as being enjoyable the stories also make you think. I will be reading more from Brenda.”

My Review:

I just finished reading this book and I must say I enjoyed each of the stories. The author has great talent. Each tale was unique and interesting, and the one tale that everyone should read is “Her Online Predator”. Everyone must be aware of the dangers that social media is fraught with and how someone could easily become innocent prey. Five Stars.

Ninjas!!!

ninja

Ninjas can be everywhere! I just finished reading this boo, Ninja School Mum by Lizzie Chantree.

From the author:

“Obsessive-compulsive school mum, Skye, is a lonely elite spy, who is running from her past whilst trying to protect the future of her child. She tries hard to fit in with the other parents at her son’s new school, but the only person who accepts her unconventional way of life is new mother, Thea.

Thea is feeling harassed by her sister and bored with her life, but she suspects that there is something strange about the new school mum, Skye. Thea has secrets of her own and, although the two become unlikely friends, she hesitates to tell Skye about the father of her own child.

Zack’s new business is growing faster than he could have dreamed but, suddenly, he finds himself the owner of a crumbling estate on the edge of a pretty village, and a single parent to a very demanding child. Could he make a go of things and give his daughter the life she deserved?

When three lives collide, it appears that only one of them is who they seem to be, and you never know who the person next to you in the school playground really is.”

My review:

“Ninja School Mum,” was a nice book to read and it mixes love into the fabric of a story that I’ve never read before. I liked the British way of using slang and I googled some slang just to sure of what the words meant to convey. The characters are strong and LUCAN made me ponder the USA’s CIA. It is understandable that the two main female leads want to help their child and niece in learning how to help their kids from being bullied by a classmate. I leave it to the reader to find this part out as well as how the rest is woven into place. Thank you Lizzie for a book with plot twists and a well woven mesh of mystery.

A Golden Era for Content Marketing — Nicholas C. Rossis

Content Marketing is a fancy word for promoting a product or service using web content–i.e. writing. Unlike, say, Influencer Marketing, which uses celebrities and other influencers to market a product, content marketing is exactly the sort of thing that we, writers, excel at. I realized how big a part in marketing it has become when […]
